The Year 7s enjoyed their lessons outside last Wednesday morning! Despite rain in the air all the children were very excited about venturing off to the river which flows through Cheam’s grounds. The morning was designed to introduce the children to rivers and their processes. The children drew sketch maps of various sites along the river, discussed the variety of processes acting on it and made intelligent conclusions as to what changes had occurred along its path. It was a cracking morning and the children learnt plenty of things about rivers and their processes. It was great being able to see these things in action!
