The Year 2 children played their first inter-school football tournament and loved every minute of it! Arrayed in boots and shin pads they played three matches each and ran round the pitches with huge excitement and enthusiasm! A few goals were scored and there was lots of teamwork, with encouragement from the parents on the sidelines. And of course – match tea! It was also great to see Mr Shaughnessy and Mr Jennings from the Prep school come to help with their refereeing skills. Thank you to Mr Knowles for organising the whole event – we are ready for the return match next term!
