The U13A rugby squad headed to Brighton College on Monday to represent Cheam in the IAPS Rugby Festival. Despite not yet playing a fixture since the move from football 2 weeks ago, the boys did the school proud, playing 6 and winning 6 matches. It really was a superb full squad performance, and all boys contributed to what was a hugely enjoyable day of rugby. Group stage wins against, Moulsford, Cumnor House, St. Andrew’s Brighton and Westbourne House saw us top our group, playing Hazlegrove in the next round in what was a very close match, and Cheam winning 10-0. In the final match, Cheam played some impressive rugby, beating Wellesley Prep 20-5 to cap off a great day. We had a great parental following too, so it really was a huge Team Cheam performance! Well done boys!
