Million Words Club Outing

On Monday we celebrated the remarkable achievements of 14 pupils who have reached the milestone of reading a million words! To reward their dedication and love for reading, these pupils were treated to a special outing, accompanied by Mr Wright and Mrs Humphreys. We took the pupils to Waterstones where they each selected a book of their choice—a fitting reward for their incredible accomplishment. After the books were purchased, the group enjoyed steaming hot chocolate in the Honesty Café. It was a perfect setting to relax and share thoughts about their chosen books. We are incredibly proud of our Million Words Club members for their dedication and enthusiasm. This outing was a wonderful way to honour their achievements and inspire them to keep turning pages. Let’s all take a leaf out of their books and continue to discover the joys of reading. Congratulations to all!
