Here at Cheam, we are proud of all the effort that our teachers and pupils put into their lessons. Over the year, we will be highlighting the work of individual departments on a fortnightly basis by showing you what the pupils get up to in their classrooms. These moments are snapshots of the type of learning that occurs on a daily basis and we hope they spark some conversations in the car or round the kitchen table. Here you can see Years 7 and 8 tackling cartoons that delve into the causes of WW2 and the French Revolution. Year 7 are also preparing for their visit to the Normandy beaches by studying the events surrounding D-Day. The pupils are preparing presentations on potential landing sites for the Allied invasion – what will the Year 7 generals recommend to Ike Eisenhower?!
