The Year 7 pupils enjoyed a splendid day out in London on their Geography Field Trip to the Olympic Park.It was the first time in over a year that they’d been on a school trip and it felt great to be out and about! We visited the Olympic Park in the morning and looked at sustainability and how they developed the park in an eco-friendly way. We investigated how the different venues had implemented sustainability into their design before moving on to East Village in the afternoon. East Village was the former Athlete’s Village during the Olympic Games but has since been developed into an sustainable urban living area.
