Cheam Chapel Choir | Winchester Cathedral Evensong | Cheam School

What an honour and pleasure it was to see the Cheam Chapel Choir singing Evensong at Winchester Cathedral on Wednesday. To be part of something that has happened every day for hundreds of years is very humbling and our choristers really rose to the challenge. The acoustics in the Cathedral are very different from our own chapel and it was so lovely to hear their dulcet tones ringing around the Cathedral long after they had stopped singing. It takes such a lot of hard work to get all the notes learnt and the event seems to be over in a flash, but hopefully it will stay in their memories for many years to come. Well done all, you were a credit to yourselves and to the school.
