Beekeeping Workshop

8AB completed their honeybee project in science by visiting a local apiary run by the Basingstoke and Deane Beekeeping Association. We were treated to a lecture and honey tasting at school and then went up to the Ibworth apiary to look at the honeybees in action in the hives. The children were fascinated and extremely brave, handling the bees confidently and learning a huge amount!
