Nick has enjoyed a 25-year career at Cheam. Since joining the School as a Form Tutor, he has progressed through numerous roles of greater and greater responsibility and has most recently served as Acting Head. Nick has long shown a leadership ‘super-power’, attracting widespread affection, coupled with respect from pupils, staff and parents alike and demonstrating consummate capability in all areas of prep school leadership.
Nick grew up in Yorkshire and is married to Kirsten. They have two teenage children, both of whom are Cheam alumni. Nick has extensive experience and expertise as an educationalist as well as a unique understanding of what makes Cheam special. He has an infectious passion for life and a desire to help children reach their full potential whilst loving every moment of their school journey.
Nick takes up his role with effect from 1st January 2025. Kirsten joins Nick on this exciting new chapter for Cheam. She is well known for her warmth, positivity and community mindedness and will take up a key role alongside Nick.
