Cheam Art Week 2024

Cheam Art Week has been amazing and The children have been inspired to create some incredible artwork!

The theme for this Art Week is ‘Connection’ and we are excited to use some resources sent to us by Sky Arts as part of National Art Week! We received some fabulous entries for the upcoming ‘Connection’ Art Week competition. Congratulations to our winners: Louis, Raffie, Penelope, Alex, Lily, Erisha and Amalia!

Many children also worked with sculptor Darcy Turner this week. He taught us how to make sculptures of birds using wire and silver tape. He has created lots of gadgets to dispense wire and tape and he showed some examples of his amazing creations.

The children continue to produce amazing artwork, being curious, open and hardworking in expressing themselves and their creativity. Well done!
