8AB | Andover Food Bank & The Apple Store

8AB enjoyed a trip to Andover Food Bank this week. They helped to collect food donations from the local supermarkets, processed the foods and then packaged up boxes ready for recipients to collect. The pastoral theme for this half term is Service so this was a great way for our children to give back to and serve the local community. After the food bank we ventured into the Apple Store at Festival Place where the children were treated to a coding workshop. They learnt how to use Swift to build apps… Perhaps we have the next entrepreneurial app designer in our midst?!
