Pre-Prep Poetry Week

Pre-Prep Poetry Week started with a colourful assembly led by the Mad Hatter (Mrs Sennett) who introduced us to poetry through nursery rhymes. Years 2 and 3 joined up for poetry workshops where they made up their own rainforest poems and it was lovely to see Prep and Pre- Prep working together. The children spent the week immersed in poetry activities, they loved learning about various types of poems, rhyming schemes and all the different topics and themes in the poems we looked at.
