With the environment high on the agenda at Cheam, the Year 5 and Mr Ruane have begun a new project. The children are making a large wild flower meadow in the school grounds behind Cheam Tops. The meadow project will encourage a greater number of pollinators into the grounds and give the children an opportunity to learn about bio-diversity. The group will begin to sow the area in the second half of term and gain hands on experience preparing and looking after the area. We look forward to sharing the progress of the project over the coming months.
