We have had such an amazing first full week back in Nursery. It has been wonderful to see all the children coming into Nursery so happy, excited and settled. This week we have welcomed two new children who have been busy making new friends and exploring the environment, both inside and out.This week, we have been looking at the story of ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’. The children have enjoyed retelling the story and acting out the different roles by using the various props to help them. We have been investigating oats, and how adding water changes their appearance. The children have used some amazing vocabulary to describe this, including squelchy, sticky, and slimy. The children have been busy painting the characters in the story ready for a wall display. We have also, made porridge which the children thoroughly enjoyed eating, especially when we added the honey!
