Cheam Dream Riding Team

The Cheam Dream Riding Team have been representing Cheam over the Easter holidays. Team and individual Dressage Qualifier March 2021This was an online competition with 52 teams and over 300 individuals entering. All riders videoed their test at home and published it on YouTube for the judges to score.The Red team of Tilly, Skye, Toby and Will came an amazing 3rd and qualified for the NSEA National Championships and The NSEA Championship Festival. The White Team of Lexie, Veronica and Will came 20th and the Blue team of Lexie, Veronica, Flora and Athena came 44th. Toby and Will took three qualifying tickets for the NSEA National Championships as individuals.Schools Equestrian Games 80cm Eventing qualifier on 3rd AprilWill and Toby did Cheam proud with Will winning and Toby a very close second, both qualifying for the SEG 80 eventing championship. With Isla already qualified we now have a team to run at the Championships.NSEA Show Jumping Qualifiers for the Nationals and County Championships on 7th April85cm classHanna, Isla and Will put in a sterling performance to be crowned Hampshire Champions and took second place in the National team qualifier to gain their ticket to the Nationals. Will as an individual is the Hampshire County Champion and took a 5th place in the National qualifier gaining his ticket to the championship. In the County Championships Will was2nd, Isla 3rd and Hanna 5th.95 cm classThis was a hotly contested class as one of only two Windsor qualifiers running this year. The team of Skye, Hanna, Isla and Will are Hampshire County champions. Skye rode a beautiful but steady round and took the Hampshire County Championship individually with Will second and Hanna third.105 cm classSkye did another beautiful double clear to finish 6th in the National qualifier taking her ticket to the championship and was Hampshire County Champion110 Elite ClassSkye went all guns blazing for an amazing double clear and won the Elite class and qualified for Hickstead and The National Championships as well as gaining her third Hampshire County Championship title.Schools Equestrian Games 70 and 80 Arena Eventing on 12th AprilThe 80 team of Siena, Lexie, Toby and Tilly had a fabulous win and Siena won individually with Toby coming 5th. Schools Equestrian Games 80 and 90cm Eventing qualifier on 18th AprilToby and Will stepped up a level finishing 7th and 10th. Both qualified for the 90 cm SEG eventing championships. Isla, Tilly and Hanna represented Cheam in the 80. Their first run of the season and a special mention must go to Tilly for coming 4rd in her arena after the dressage.
