Singing Pupils ConcertOn Thursday, 14 November, all singing pupils performed to their parents in an informal concert to celebrate all that has been learned in lessons so far this term. Solos were interspersed with ensemble performances from Years 6, 7 and 8 and a rousing rendition of “Rule the World” as a massed item at the end of the evening completed a lively and varied concert. Solo offerings ranged from spirited characterisations to gentle and meditative pieces but all were equally well executed and appreciated by the audience in the chapel.A number of pupils should be congratulated for admirably stepping in to cover solos for those who were unfortunately unable to attend due to illness. Thanks must also be extended to Mrs Coxwell for coordinating the event and for accompanying, as well as Mrs Hayles for her pupils’ contributions.
