Year 7 Outing to the Design Museum and National Gallery

Year 7 Outing to the Design Museum and the National Gallery On Monday September 23rd Year 7 went on an outing to The Design Museum and the National Gallery in London. At the Design Museum the children enjoyed a workshop about using sustainable materials and they looked around the inspiring ‘Designer-Maker-User’ gallery.We visited the National Gallery in the afternoon. We were given a guided tour with the focus on portraiture. We studied paintings from different eras and the pupils drew portraits in their sketchbook inspired by the pictures in the collection.
